John Scammell is the founder and owner of Sundance Media. He has a lifetime experience in both print and broadcast media.
His background was in regional newspapers in the North West and North East before returning to London to write for the Mail on Sunday and the Times.
John worked for Thames Television and TV-AM before turning the lights out at one breakfast station only to turn them on at GMTV the next day.
Within months of arriving as a senior producer he became the station’s Deputy Editor before being promoted to Managing Editor two months later.
In that position he led the team to become the most successful and profitable breakfast station in Europe.
John brings a wealth of experience to Sundance on both a commercial and production level having worked with the best producers, crews, and presenters in network television.
The production team all have an ITV and BBC pedigree and worldwide experience. The Producer/Directors all have years of network television credits behind them supported by top class crews, editors and graphic artists to ensure the quality of the finished product.
